I picked Movie category, because this character was in a few movies but he started as a TV character. Jim Henson was a role model in my life and out of his character cast, I appreciate Gonzo's character most. Gonzo is passionate, driven, and oblivious to the judgement of others that may deem him a bit .... odd. He is always positive has a can-do attitude that never stops. Besides, with a nose like that, you know the costume would get many a chuckle tonight.

:) Except for the nose and oddness, sounds just like you, Ed: passionate, driven,  always positive, and a can-do attitude that never stops.

I have long been a fan of elephants and observed several large herds hanging out in Tanzania a few years back. My living room is filled with elephants in various forms.

  • Elephants are extremely intelligent animals and have memories that span many years. I could use that although there are things I would rather forget!
  • Elephants can communicate over long distances by producing a sub-sonic rumble that can travel over the ground faster than sound through air. I wouldn't need words to explain things.
  • Elephants form deep family bonds and live in tight matriarchal family groups of related females called a herd. Although I appreciate the guys, I think that we could use more matriarchal groups and strong family ties!
  • Finally, as an elephant, it would be OK to be overweight without watching diets! :)

I would dress up as a cat. They are graceful, playful, and have great curiosity. They can communicate with their purr or with their tails. On the flip side, they are willful, devious, and if they don't like you they will rub up against your legs to deposit lots of fur.

I have three of those critters, and you describe them well. The girl, the smallest of the three, is a super hunter among the pinons and rocks where I live, much like females in the wild. The two boys, brothers, are less aggressive and super affectionate. Like my two dogs, they go in and out the doggy door as they please and have gotten well into adulthood by knowing how to stay away from the coyotes, owls, and eagles who share their space! :) Leecy
