Join the Financial Literacy group for a guided exploration of The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) created to help people learn about topics related to financial literacy, including credit, how to manage debt, identity theft, avoiding scams, budgeting, opening a bank account, shopping for prepaid cards, and managing money. resources may be very helpful for adult learners. They contain concise and practical consumer information, are appropriate for audiences with varying degrees of English fluency, and are available in Spanish and free to use. Related materials can be ordered for free for use in classrooms and at community events at (English)or (Spanish).

Join Cristina Miranda, Consumer Education Specialist, Division of Consumer and Business Education, FTC, at 2:00pm (EST) on December 14th for a webinar and introduction to resources and their potential uses in adult education settings. The webinar will be followed by an online discussion in the Financial Literacy group.
