The upcoming webinar on the Mobile Revolution should prove to be very educational and useful and I hope that everybody has an opportunity to participate.
My own experience with Mobile devices in my ESL program has been very rewarding. In particular the addition of WhatsApp has been exciting to say the least.
I began to use my cell phone in classes over a year ago. At that time I just had a “plain” phone, so I could at least set up a group text for students to let them know when I arrived and to send 2 minute audios of a review. I think just about all of my students owned a smart phone or android, and they kept telling me to get a new phone. I finally did, and now I have to say it is much more effective than I imagined.
Anyway, I am sure we will learn a lot from the Webinar.
