DOL - Summit on Worker Voice

REPOSTING FROM DEPARTMENT OF LABOR:

Secretary of Labor Tom Perez will be at the White House Summit on Worker Voice, where President Obama is bringing together workers, employers, unions, organizers, advocates and other experts to explore ways we can ensure that working people reap the benefits of the economic growth they are helping to create.

Why is this important? Because America is strongest when we all succeed. To do that, we must ensure ALL people have a voice at work.

You can join us: Watch the Summit beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET at wh.gov/live.

There's something every one of us can do to create change in our workplaces. Just by starting the conversation, a voice in the break room could mean a change in the boardroom. We need to ignite and launch a larger conversation about how we give workers a stronger voice to build a stronger America.

That’s why we need leaders like you to be engaged. You understand that a voice in the workplace leads to the broadly-shared prosperity we need.

So, join the Summit online to ask your questions and share your ideas about how we can energize people to come together and recognize the potential power of their voice at work.
