What can adult education programs do to develop the capacity and confidence of new teachers?

Next Tuesday, January 26th, from 2 – 3:15 PM EST, Andy Nash of the New England Literacy Resource Center will lead a webinar offered by Regional Professional Development Center 1 exploring the Adult Education Teacher Induction Toolkit, a collection of multimedia resources that:

  • Strengthen evidence-based instruction of new teachers
  • Guide experienced teachers in mentorship practices
  • Incorporate the Teacher Induction Pathway into program support and leadership  

Webinar participants will look at key resources in the Toolkit, as well as hear from instructional leaders and mentors on how to best use them.

Webinar Objectives

Participants will:

  • Understand the Toolkit’s teacher induction resources and their purposes
  • Become familiar with the Teacher Induction Pathway and key tools to support each step
  • Identify tools that match specific program purposes
