Educational Testing Service (ETS), in collaboration with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) and with funding from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), is conducting two additional training workshops for individual researchers and research teams to explore and use data and assessment tools from PIAAC. These workshops are designed for those who want to go beyond computing basic statistics with the PIAAC databases. During the workshops, participants will be trained to conduct simple and complex analyses with the PIAAC data. The general day-to-day schedule of the workshops will include both presentations and hands-on practical assignments using the PIAAC databases. Accommodation and sustenance costs to participate in these workshops will be funded by a grant from IES.
Correctional education research teams are especially encouraged to apply.
