LINCS OER Webinar Added to YouTube!

Greetings, Members!

LINCS’ latest archived webinar: Open Educational Resources: Working Together to Evaluate and Promote High Quality Resources in the Classroom is now available on the LINCS YouTube Channel! The informative webinar discusses the value of evaluating open educational resources (OER) in support of work in adult education. Featured speakers Dahlia Shaewitz, Dr. Tara Myers, and Amanda Duffy from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) share the value of tagging OER for adult education, adding comments, and joining the OER Commons public group of adult educators.

A week prior to this webinar, the AIR team engaged in a week-long Q&A on the evaluation of OER, the effectiveness of quality OER for adult learners, and usefulness of the OER Commons website in the Science, Math, and Evidence-based Professional Development groups. You may read the responses and join in the conversation here:  http://1.usa.gov/1EVlE9A.

We encourage you to view the archive and be sure to share these resources with your adult education program staff, interested colleagues, and your social media networks.

Best regards,

The LINCS Community Team
