We invite you to join us at the Global STEMx conference (http://stemxcon.com/), which is a massively open online conference for educators focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and more. The conference is being held over the next three days, September 19-21, 2013, and is free to attend. The Open Education Resources to Support Adult STEM Teaching and Learning project will host two presentations during this virtual conference:

  • Presentation 1: "Finding OERs to Support Adult Education Instruction " led by Penny Pearson, Sacramento County Office of Education, will occur  on Thursday, September 19th at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (PDT)
  • Presentation 2: “From the CyberWorld to the RealWorld (Classroom)” led by Dahlia Shaewitz and Amanda Duffy, American Institutes for Research, will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 6:00 – 7:00 PM (EDT)

Several others from the adult education community are presenting at this virtual conference—you can search by topic and by presenter to find sessions that interest you.

Best,
