Communicators for Virtual Conference!

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: LINCS VIRTUAL CONFERENCE: Adult Education in the 21st Century: Preparing Students for Their Future, March 1st-15th, 2018

Please check today’s bulletin announcing our upcoming Virtual Conference. I hope that we’ll have several good proposals coming from our Reading and Writing Community. If you would like help in any way, please don’t hesitate to contact me: leecywise@gmail.com.

Have you tried new communication instructional approaches that work? How might you create sparks among your colleagues dedicated to enhancing instruction among adults? Consider sharing your expertise, resource, tips, best practices, and strategies with adult education professionals nationwide.

You who are members of Reading and Writing community have rich experiences to share with adult educators everywhere. Consider submitting a proposal right away to address instruction to adults in the following or additional topics:

  • Essential Components of reading instruction
  • Serving individuals with a barrier to employment including those who have low levels of literacy skills
  • Literacy skills, skill-building, and instructional strategies
  • Using content standards in English Language Arts and Literacy instruction
  • Family literacy
  • Learning in context
  • Best practices based on the most rigorous research available and appropriate
