February Spotlight for LINCS Resources

February Science resources from the LINCS Collection include the ABE Clean Energy Ambassadors Curriculum Resource Guide and Increasing Opportunities for Low-Income Women and Student Parents in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math at Community Colleges

Starting with the ABE Clean Energy Ambassadors Curriuclum Resource Giude, the goal is to help expose ABE learners to clean energy concepts and career pathways. The guide is a collection of materials, lessons, and activities that help educators integrate clean engery concepts into the classroom. The guide includes the following:

  • Examples of How Clean Energy Resources Can be Used to Teach a Variety of Subjects

  • Other Approaches from ABE Clean Energy Ambassadors


The resource, "Increasing Opportunities for Low-Income Women and Student Parents in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math at Community Colleges" examines the opportunities for women and student parents to succeed in STEM fields while identifying promising institutional practices relating to recruitment and retention. The contents of the report include the following:
