Hello colleagues, If you have wall space in your classroom or program, you might want to check out these wonderful free posters featuring some amazingly talented and successful women. We know it's important for girls to learn about successful women, but even adult women --and men, too!-- can be inspired and gain confidence from women who have achieved important goals.
I already downloaded and printed the poster of Katherine Johnson, the NASA mathematician featured in the movie Hidden Figures, who did the complex mathematical computations for many of the historic space launches, including the mission to the moon. We were all incredibly inspired by Johnson's remarkable story -- a great one to revisit today since it's Juneteenth!
