How could LINCS CoPs be more useful to you?

Colleagues,

How could LINCS CoPs be more useful to you?  I am posting this question on most of the LINCS CoPs because I am interested in your answers, including your thoughts about the possible answer below:

I have been hearing that adult education practitioners -- teachers, tutors and managers -- are beleaguered by the needs and demands on their time while they have fewer resources to meet those needs and demands. If this is true for you, then how can the LINCS CoPs, in particular, help you meet those needs and demands more efficiently and effectively?

Of course, using the LINCS Search feature could reveal that others here have the same questions and issues that you do, and that good solutions may have been provided in previous discussions, or in documents or videos referenced in those discussions.

Another way to get the help you need may be to describe in a CoP post the challenge you face, the goals you are trying to achieve, the question you and your colleagues are trying to answer, or the problem you are trying to solve. Choose the CoP(s) that appear to be most relevant to your challenge, goals, need or problem; then describe the context (e.g. students’ needs? teachers’ needs, e.g. for professional development? teaching and Learning needs? curriculum? assessment? resources? technology? program evaluation?  something else?) Then add your question(s).

Another thought: Include the word “help” in the header to your post. For example, “Looking for help to identify good ESOL/ESL Curriculum.” This will call attention to your post so that CoP members may offer assistance.

How do you think LINCS CoPs could be more useful to you?
