Happy New Year LINCS Colleagues!
In 2015, shortly after I became the new moderator of the Integrating Technology ( then the Technology and Learning) group, I asked members to tell me their most important challenges in integrating technology into instruction and program operations. Duren Thompson replied by suggesting I ask the question this way:
“We want to address YOUR tech concerns. Please reply to this post with just ONE question/topic/issue you would like to see [the Integrating Technology group] address in the next year. What are YOUR pressing issues/needs relating to integrating tech into teaching and learning.” She also offered a different version of the same question:
“6 word essay challenge! Tell us, in JUST 6 words, about your most pressing need/issue re: Integrating Technology into teaching and learning for low-literacy adults. What topic(s) would you MOST like to see addressed over the coming year? Then be sure to ‘like’ [the replies with] your favorite essays – essays with the most likes will get higher priority for CoP discussion!”
Let the 6 word essay challenge for 2018 begin! What's your most pressing challenge? Of the replies that I hope we get, which ones do you "like" (using the "Like This" button below)?
