Join us for an Informational Webinar on Designing Career Focused Basic Skills Instruction

Dear Colleagues,

Pre-College Academic Programming at LaGuardia Community College and the National College Transitions Network is proud to announce an informational webinar to be held this Friday, March 15th, 12:00-1:30pm EST, on our 2013 professional development course, Designing Career Focused Basic Skills Instruction for Adult Learners.

The webinar, led by PCAP administrators and instructors, will offer a preview of the contextualized basic skills instructional methods that the course will introduce and will give an overview of the GED Bridge programs that utilize these methods at LaGuardia. It will also outline the progression of the course, which will include two day workshops in New York and Boston this July, coaching sessions, and a one day institute in November 2013. Those who have already applied and those who are considering applying are encouraged to attend.
