Mistakes grow your brain!

Hello colleagues, Did you know that research actually shows that making mistakes causes our brains to grow? This is the case even when we don't stop to fix the mistakes. Even more surprising is that we don't even have to be aware that we've made a mistake. You might be thinking, what?! really?!

If you want to know more, check out Stanford University professor of math education Jo Boaler's blog. Boaler has been supporting math teachers to think about these ideas. Boaler's approach has been highly effective in helping students to revise their self-perception that they are not good at math.
