Hello colleagues, There has been a good bit of discussion on LINCS around portfolio assessment, including online e-portfolios in the past. Some members will be interested in this blog by teacher trainer and "e-learning specialist" Shelly Terrell, "Meaningful Learning with Digital Portfolios: Examples and Tools." In this blog, Terrell links to her professional Weebly portfolio.
Online portfolios can be a wonderful way to integrate technology into instruction and can be used to assess specific projects as well as a way to collect learning activities over time and reflect on what was learned.
Have you used online portfolios? For what purposes? Do you have favorite tools for creating e-portfolios? What tips can you pass along to others?
Cheers, Susan Finn Miller
