Hello colleagues, If you are looking for some wonderful reading and listening materials to use with low level learners, you might want to check out the ESL Literacy Readers developed by our fine colleagues in Canada. These readers feature topics of interest to adult immigrants and are available at various levels. The lowest level readers have a single short sentence on each page accompanied by a lovely color photograph. The site includes audio for the stories, too. It is possible to print the readers to create small booklets for each student. These materials can be used in class and by learners at home. There is an instructor's guide available on the home page.
