September 19, KYAE Hangout, "Twitter in the AE Program"

Hello All,

I've started holding KYAE Hangouts once a month and am inviting you to the first event inlcuding others beyond Kentucky's borders. As mentioned above the topic is on use of "Twitter in the AE Program." Please join us for an hour, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. EST.  You can watch from my YouTube or Google+ page.

The even will be broadcast live - on air - meaning that you do not have to be on camera, but you can still watch, follow along and participate. I will have a google doc that will be shared with all participants, and there will be a chat bar that those not on camera can use to ask questions. I am going to be hosting two guests: Nell Eckersly and Audrey McLaren.

Nell Eckersly many of you know as our fearless moderator, and a wonerful presenter. She has presented on use of Twitter with learners, professional development, and class engagement. Click here to see Nell's blog.

Audrey McLaren is a teacher in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Last year she posted, "Teaching year #26 about done. My learning/changes during 24-26 far supassed sum total of 1-23. Why? Twitter. Right here." Audrey works for LearnQuebec as an Online Math Instructor. Click here to see Audrey's blog.

It will be a learning experience, because this will be my first "On Air" event. I look forward to having anyone interested, and sharing what I learned afterwards.

Hey Nancy,

No registration necessary. If you click on my Google+ or YouTube hyperlink you will be taken to the "On Air" event. At that window you will be able to watch the discussion like you it is on tv, as well as have a chat window to write in questions.

I hope I answered your question.
