This came of the heels of Monday's convening of employers and partners in Washington, DC, for Win/Win: Making the Case Employer Talent Development. Many have streamed the event live, or watched the recording, which is available here.
What you may not have heard about is the release of Earn While You Learn: Switzerland's Vocational Education and Training System - A Model for Apprenticeships in the United States. This document previews the Swiss model and the Joint Declaration of Intent between Switzerland and the U.S. to strengthen ties between the two nations, in an effort to expand opportunities for apprenticeships by U.S. students and workers.
