The impact of Implicit Bias on educational outcomes has been well-documented. This presentation by Claudia Morrell, Senior Consultant at Morrell and Associates, discusses ways that Implicit Bias in our education system can be addressed by developing empathy in educators. Morrell proposes that equitable learning environments have three main components: 1) Inclusion; 2) Normalized; and, 3) Empowered.
