Hello colleagues, The midterm election takes place in a few days. There are likely teachers who are focusing their lessons on this important civics topic. The icivics site offers many great lesson plans and other resources related to the midterms that can be tailored for adult learners.
Here's a link to a lesson plan and other resources from the New York Times about the 2022 midterm elections. Again, this material is designed for a K12 audience, but with some tweaking it can be made relevant for adult learners, too.
Here's another collection of resources related to the midterm elections from PBS. The Teaching for Democracy Alliance website also features many useful materials.
