Hello colleagues, Teachers working with advanced English learners, might like to check out the article about Ida B. Wells in the CommonLit collection. I taught a unit on Ida B. Wells recently, and I would be happy to share the materials I developed to accompany this article, a short video about Wells' life, and a brief video of Bryan Stevenson, founder of the Equal Justice Initative, talking about the legacy of lynching. Members might be familiar with the Equal Justice Initiative and the recently opened Legacy Museum and National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama.
