Betsy Parrish's Bio: 

Betsy Parrish brings decades of experience as a language teacher educator and professional development provider on a wide range of topics related to working with adult English language learners.

Betsy Parrish has worked in the field of English language teaching for over 35 years as a language teacher, teacher educator, writer and consultant. She is author of Teaching English Language Learners: A Practical Introduction (Cambridge University Press 2019).  

She has been Subject Matter Expert on several OCTAE sponsored projects, including ESL Pro, the English Language Proficiency Standards for Adults, Teaching Skills that Matter in Adult Education (author of Civics toolkit), and most recently, a new LINCS course: Teaching Adult English Learners: Principles and Practices
