Hello colleagues, I'm super excited to announce that LINCS will be offering a live event on September 13 at 3:30 ET focused on Project-Based Learning (PBL) with Kristi Reyes from Mira Costa College. Kristi is one of our all-time favorite presenters!
Join us to learn about projects that integrate technology as a powerful way to give ABE and English learners real-world work preparation. Students can build their knowledge in many topics (including science content!) while developing oral and written communication skills, and carefully planned projects can address standards, support the development of critical soft skills, and give learners a sense of empowerment, not to mention tech skills! Attendees will learn about projects they can use right away in their classes.

Kristi Reyes is an ESL instructor in MiraCosta College’s noncredit program, located in north San Diego County. She is a trainer and facilitator for California’s two adult education leadership projects, CALPRO and OTAN and serves as a TSTM coach.
