Teaching Skills That Matter EdTech Maker Space Info Session

The EdTech Center@World Education is offering service learning opportunities through EdTech Maker Space projects that help educators locate and curate high-quality Open Educational Resources (OER) that align to these Teaching Skills That Matter topic areas: Civics, Health Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Workplace Readiness. TSTM is an initiative led by our partners the American Institutes for Research and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education with the goal of supporting instruction of transferable 21 Century skills.

The EdTech Maker Space professional development model brings educators together to learn technology tools and apply their learning by designing resources and activities that they can use and that can also be shared and adapted by other educators across the nation. It’s professional development with purpose!

During this info session on April 29th at 1:00PM Eastern join us to hear more about the research behind this project, what participants can expect to learn and create, and the project logistics.
