Build Local Adult Ed Networks

The fantastic developments in online adult education classes now make it much easier than before for working adults to study anything anywhere. In any city there are usually classes at adult ed centers, libraries, churches, community centers, etc. Plus many adults prefer to learn outside of a structured classroom.

So....why not create local networks to appeal to all adult learners? Why not? If different organizations could cooperate in a meaningful way, I am sure that: #1 - interest and attendance would increase; #2 - funding would be more readily available; #3 - the childrens' success in school would skyrocket.

There is no doubt in my mind that the use of the internet in education will lead to the above scenario. Why not sooner rather than later?
