State correctional education directors and staff are invited to consider registering for OCTAE’s IET in Corrections project’s State Leadership Academy. The State Leadership Academy helps state teams comprised of correctional education and adult education state staff align state IET vision, funding, resources, and policy. The State Leadership Academy will have four sessions on April 19, May 3, May 24, and June 7.
The academy also helps states identify a facility to participate in an in-person design camp, which will occur September 18-20, 2023, November 7-9, 2023, and January 2024 (dates to be determined). Travel costs for up to six participants from each state will be covered by the IET in Corrections project.
If you would like a facility in your state to participate in any of these three design camps, we recommend your state participate in this state leadership academy.
