Hello all - it has been a little while since we have "played" with math. I have a new "Try it Tuesday." Let's start with, what do you know notice? What do you wonder?

5 columns of dots, 5 dots in each column, 1st column one dot is shaded at the very bottom, 2nd column all 5 dots are shaded, 3rd column the last 3 dots are shaded, 4th column all 5 dots are shaded and 5th column 1 dot shaded at the very bottom.

Why do they have to be so Odd?

1, 5, 3, 5, 1

They are also a numerical palindrome which would make it have reflectional symmetry.

I wonder why everyone focused on the black dot pattern instead of the pattern the white dots make: 4,0,2,0,4 ?
