Hi Everyone,

Did you ever wonder how writing can improve the reading comprehension of adult education students? We will have a one-day discussion about this on June 8 where you can ask questions or comment on this issue with writing expert Dr. Charles MacArthur. The discussion will being at 8 AM ET and last throughout the day. No registration is required to participate, just login to the Reading and Writing community and comment in the discussion thread.

We will begin the discussion with the questions:

  • How is it that writing can support reading?
  • What kinds of writing activities can improve reading comprehension?
