LINCS Celebrates You: Happy Teacher Appreciation Day!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share this LINCS announcement from yesterday:

"Teaching is the only profession that creates other professions. Without teachers, there would be no doctors, artists, innovators, leaders, inventors, or other teachers! May 2-6 is our week to celebrate teachers and their profession and May 3 is Teacher Appreciation Day.

"At LINCS, we know firsthand the dedication of adult educators who offer their learners knowledge, skills and support that may afford them a new beginning or path, and has far reaching impacts on their own lives, families, and communities. Emerging from a global pandemic that has long-lasting impact on the way we teach, we have seen adult educators continue to push through to seek new ways to provide opportunities for diverse populations, make connections to skilled training and the workforce, and ensure all are able to access the knowledge they need.

"Today we celebrate adult educators—teachers, tutors, mentors, volunteers and teacher trainers. We are grateful for you and the work you do to impact others’ lives in a positive way.

Thank you, teachers, today, this week and every week!" (LINCS Announcement 5/3/22)
