I recently came across two free courses on the Coursera website that may be of interest to you.
Foundations for Teaching for Learning - https://www.coursera.org/course/teach3: This course runs from January 5, 2015 through February 25, 2015 and is a basic course on student learning, designed for individuals who teach but have no formal teacher education.
e-Learning Ecologies - https://www.coursera.org/course/elearning: This course runs from January 19, 2015 through March 14, 2015 and provides a variety of approaches to learning and teaching through the use of e-learning and social web technologies. Participants will explore various types of learning such as ubiquitous learning, active knowledge making, multimodal meaning, recursive feedback, collaborative intelligence, metacognition, and differentiated learning.
