Looking for ways to advocate for adult education and literacy?

ProLiteracy’s Advocacy Toolkit for Adult Education and Literacy: How to Increase Public and Private Support Using PIAAC Data features case studies of successful advocacy campaigns from state associations, regional coalitions, and local programs. In this webinar, you will hear Michael Matos of Chicago Citywide Literacy Coalition, Rachel Gwaltney of Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education, Roberta Soolman of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts, and Ira Yankwitt of Literacy Assistance Center NYC describe their own advocacy campaigns.

These experienced advocates will share how they built their campaigns, how they used imported PIAAC and other data to make persuasive arguments, and which strategies they used to communicate with stakeholders to gain support for adult education and literacy efforts.
