In 2020 I collected 21 literacy terms and metaphors; below is my list. If I have missed any, please let me know. I have alphabetized, but haven't categorized them. How would you categorize these? Which ones do you consider true kinds of literacy, and which ones do you consider as metaphors that use literacy to mean "basic" or "fundamental"?
