Join the LINCS Professional Development Center on November 8, 2017, at 1pm ET for “Leveraging Libraries to Support Adult Education.” This 45-minute webinar is the first in a new series that focuses on how states leverage internal resources to enhance their adult education and professional development offerings to meet WIOA requirements. We will showcase how the Texas Workforce Commission partnered with the Texas State Libraries and Archives Commission to enhance opportunities for adult education in Texas.
Hear from Anson Green, Texas State Director of Adult Education and Literacy; Jennifer Peters, Director of Library Development and Networking; and two local library/adult education partnerships in Dallas and Beaumont, Texas. They will share how the state identified the need for this partnership and explain how library partnerships benefit their adult education students.
Join us and learn how you can leverage resources and relationships to help students in your state.
