STEM Biographies Video Lessons for Black History Month

During Black History Month, students have the opportunity to explore the impact of African Americans on STEM fields through a series of Edpuzzle Originals video lessons focused on STEM biographies. Highlighted individuals include astronaut Mae Jemison, mathematician Katherine Johnson, and inventor-agriculturalist George Washington Carver. The series also sheds light on Henrietta Lacks, a cancer patient whose contributions to the development of "immortal" HeLa cells are recognized. Teachers have the option to share these videos with students, though a login is necessary for those wishing to make copies.
