DescriptionJoin the Mathematics and Numeracy group for a Coffee Break discussion about Ethnomathematics. We'll unpack and explore what Ethnomathematics is and its potential to aid in mathematical proficiency for different cultures in the mathematics classroom.

Description: Personal and workplace success skills are the set of transferable skills that are critical for finding employment and advancing in a career pathway. They are also lifelong learning skills that enable us to be resilient and adaptive in an ever-changing labor market. Come join the Professional Development group and host Sandy Goodman and Dani Scherer to learn more about the Personal & Workforce Success Skills Library.

Join us to explore The Underrepresentation Curriculum (URC) -- a free and flexible tool that explores issues of social justice in STEM using data analysis, hypothesis creation, and investigation.
