Live Session: Exploring the Equitable Apprenticeship Toolkit

Description: This event will explore equity in apprenticeship and how the equitable apprenticeship toolkit can support local programs in increasing diversity and equity in apprenticeships and the workforce in general.

Live Session: Pathway Home Grant: IET Implementation within Correctional Settings

Description: Pathway Home grants from the U.S. Department of Labor target re-entering citizens and provide adult education, training, and supports. Join the Professional Development group for an interview with Carl Betterson, the Coordinator of Savannah Technical College's U.S. Department of Labor's Pathway Home grant, to learn about Pathway Home program implementation successes and challenges.

Live Session: Preparing Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder for Postsecondary Education

Description: More than half of young adults with autism remain unemployed and unenrolled in higher education in the two years after high school, and over the next decade it’s estimated up to a million or more teens with autism will enter adulthood and age out of school-based autism services. Join us to learn strategies to better support neurodivergent adult learners and view clips from the Autism Goes to College Project.
