Live Session:  Transform, Engage, and Retain (TSTM)

Description: Join us as Tiffany Lee shares approaches to transforming Teaching the Skills That Matter (TSTM) lessons into a virtual learning using the free, interactive digital tool Nearpod. Participants will learn how to keep students engaged and boost student participation with collaborative activities and formative assessment, as well as best practices for program and classroom improvement. (Please note this is not an official endorsement of Nearpod.)

Live Session:  Advocating for Prison & Reentry Education

Description: Joins us as Doug Smith helps us consider ways educators can advocate for and on behalf of their students to create a more robust and supportive system for adult learners in correctional and reentry settings. We will discuss understanding the issues facing adult learners, what it means to be an advocate for students as they progress into trade or post-secondary programming, and best practices for engaging legislators and administrators.
